In early April Latvian President Raimonds Vejonis is going to visit Georgia on an official visit, the chairman of the Georgian Parliament David Usupashvili, who is currently in Riga, reported.
As previously reported, Usupashvili arrived in Latvia yesterday together with a group of parliamentarians. In the framework of the two-day visit the Georgian delegation has already held a meeting with the Acting Prime Minister of Latvia, Laimdota Straujuma.
In addition, representatives of the Georgian delegation will speak at the University of Latvia, where they will discuss security issues during a round table discussion. David Usupashvili and the MPs will also participate in the opening of an exhibition devoted to the Georgian alphabet, Sputnik Georgia reports.
