President of Tajikistan Emomali Rakhmon said that the country will continue to maintain an open-door foreign policy and is ready to cooperate with all countries, including Russia.
"Our foreign policy is based on constructive cooperation and we are ready to cooperate with all countries, including our traditional partners, in particular with Russia," he said, adding that Tajikistan is ready "to develop cooperation with Russia in terms of the joint fight against modern threats."
Rakhmon stressed that "any disputes in the field of international and inter-state relations should be settled exclusively by diplomatic means."
