2015 is coming to an end. It is time to look back and assess our results during 12 months. The head of Dagestan Republic of Ramadan Abdullatipov summed up the republic’s results in an interview with a correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza.
According to him, the most important achievement is the fact that the economy of the region is overcoming the current crisis. ''Positive dynamics are observed in many sectors of the republic. I can note growth in many sectors: in industry from 7 to 24%, in agriculture 3-5%. We feel that there are some new challenges, but at the same time we do our best to maintain this positive trend,'' Abdullatipov said.
According to the head of the republic, another important point is increasing the public confidence in the authorities.
The head of Dagestan noted with great satisfaction how the country lived this year. "It is a great achievement that this year Russia has showed itself as never before. It is so good that our national leader is Vladimir Putin, who enjoys our confidence,’’ the head of the region noted.
"But the most important thing is that we shouldn't frighten and suppress each other, losing heart. Discouragement, both in Christianity and other religions, is considered the greatest sin. It is important to create positive prospects for people. It is important to speak good words, even if money is not enough. Above all, I want to wish every Dagestani, Caucasian, Russian family to live in peace. And another very important point for Russia is the worse the situation becomes, the better we begin to work," Ramadan Abdullatipov concluded.
