The head of the Republic of Dagestan, Ramazan Abdulatipov, met with the Deputy Director of the Central Bank of Iran, Gholamali Kamyab, the press service of the Dagestani government said.
They discussed issues of cooperation and possible projects with the participation of Dagestani companies and the Central Bank of Iran. Gholamali Kamyab said that Russia is an important partner for the Central Bank, and friendly relations between Russia and Iran open up good prospects for fruitful cooperation between Russian and Iranian commercial organizations.
Ramazan Abdulatipov spoke about favorable conditions for the development of cooperation between companies of Dagestan and Iran.
He also said that many Iranian businessmen agreed to visit Dagestan to explore investment opportunities and discuss the possibilities for exchange of experience, as well as development of joint business.
Gholamali Kamyab, in his turn, expressed confidence that the sides are ready to strengthen their fruitful economic cooperation.
