The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, has announced that the Champions Cup Night Hockey League (NHL) will take place in Grozny in November.
It is known that the Chechen capital has been recently visited by the NHL leadership, led by executive director Sergei Babinov.
Recall that the Night Hockey League was formed in 2011 on the personal initiative of President Vladimir Putin and the country's national hockey veterans. The purpose of the League is to attract the adult population to the sport, Tass reports.
