For the first time, the Russian airline Red Wings will connect Makhachkala and Uzbek Urgench with a direct flight, the Makhachkala airport's press service reported.
"The first flight from the capital of Dagestan is scheduled for April 26. Flights will be operated weekly on Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft", the message says, TASS reports.
While the flight will be weekly, the departure from Makhachkala will be carried out on Tuesdays, and the flight duration will be 1 hour 55 minutes. The aircraft will return from Urgench on Wednesdays, the flight duration will be 2 hours and 15 minutes.
