Referendum in Abkhazia rejected

A turnout on the referendum in Abkhazia, according to the results on 18:00, was less than 1% (0.99%), the head of the Central Election Commission of the Republic, Batal Tabagua, said.

‘’ A total number of voting at the moment in the election lists is 133207 people. Only 1322 people voted, which is 0.99%,’’  RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.

"We are summing up the results and announce that the referendum was rejected,’’ Batal Tabagua said.
