Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said the renewal of sanctions would disparage the US at the international level, while they would not affect third parties, Mehr news agency reported.
Speaking upon his arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi on Saturday morning, Zarif underlined "as in the past, US officials are obliged to stop the implementation of sanctions."
If signed by the President of US, the sanctions renewal despite never been executed, would damage the international image of the US among world nations, Zarif noted.
