Renewed fights in Syria

Militants of the terrorist groups Dzhebhat en Nusra and Ahrar al-Sham have renewed military activity in the town of Zabadani (near Damascus) and in the Shiite villages and Kefraya Foy Idlib province, thus violating the ceasefire, which lasted 54 hours, a military source reported today.

The Syrian army resumed military operations in the town of Zabadani after a 54-hour-truce. The ceasefire, supposed to last 72 hours, was broken by fighting armed groups,’’ RIA Novosti an interlocutor.
