A rescue dog received an award for saving a human life while clearing rubble in Türkiye. The award was presented by Mamuka Sepiashvili, Deputy Head of the Department of Fire and Rescue Forces.
For saving a human life and participating in the operation to eliminate the consequences of an earthquake in Türkiye, a rescue dog named Tinto was awarded a special award.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country, the award was handed over by the deputy head of the department of fire and rescue forces, Mamuka Sepiashvili.
The Georgian side was helping Türkiye from the first days of the catastrophe.
On the territories affected by the earthquake, a rescue group of a hundred people was working, including cynologists, with special equipment. In total, thanks to the efforts of rescuers from Georgia, three victims of the earthquake were saved.
