A mountaineer from Poland was helped by rescuers on Elbrus, the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Kabardino-Balkaria reports.
At 16:05 Moscow time, the department received a signal from the Crisis Management Center that the search and rescue operations began in Elbrus District on Mount Elbrus at an altitude of 5.2 thousand meters.
The help was provided to a mountaineer (from a registered tourist group of two), who developed signs of mountain sickness.
