An incident has taken place on Mount Fischt: a 48-year resident climber from Voronezh suddenly experienced acute appendicitis while ascending the mountain.
A helicopter of the Ministry of Emergency Situations with rescuers on board saved him, as the tourist could not move independently. The Voronezh resident was hospitalized in Sochi, where he underwent surgery to remove his appendix, Kuban-24 reports.
