According to the press service of the Ministry of the Territorial Administration and Emergencies (MTUCHS) of Armenia, a 65-year-old resident of Yerevan, Annette Mirzoyan, died after coming into contact with a high-voltage cable while grape picking in the courtyard of the Foundation of Christian Culture, located at 24 Armenakyan.
''The woman cut a cable with a current and died of electric shock as she was processing a grape-vine with scissors,’’ NEWS.am reports.
A brigade of the personnel department arrived at the scene immediately.
The Investigative Committee of the Republic has already begun to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
