Residents of the Syrian city of Raqqah have rebelled against militants of Daesh (terrorist organization, banned in Russia), who declared this city as their capital in 2013.
It is reported that the residents of Raqqah were able to force militants out of part of the city. The Syrian flag was raised above one of the bridges, RBC writes with reference to the Iranian news agency Tasnim.
