On January 1, in the Stavropol Territory, amendments to the law "On some issues of conducting an experiment for the development of resort infrastructure" were made. Thus, the resort tax for residents of the region was abolished.
According to ATVmedia, the residents of Stavropol who lived in the cities of the Caucasian Mineral Waters were previously exempted from the resort tax, but then the mayor's office of Kislovodsk proposed to cancel the resort tax for the entire population of the region.
The idea of the Kislovodsk mayor's office was supported by the administrations of other Stavropol resorts.
