Three volumes of Russian classics, which were translated into the Ingush language, are to be published in Ingushetia before the New Year. The announcement was made during a discussion of the results of the Year of Literature, which is taking place in the republic this year. It is worth noting that 10 books were published for the first time in the Ingush language with the type of Braille for visually impaired readers. In addition, more than 10,000 books were donated to municipalities.
The head of Ingushetia, Yunus-bek Yevkurov noted that "if the Year of Literature hasn't brought distinct results, then it means that it was ineffective," Russian Planet cites him as saying.
