Everything is very well organized at the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships in Baku, American gymnasts Elizaveta Pletneva, Elizaveta Merenzon, Kristina Sobolevskaya, Isabella Connor, Nicole Sladkov and Connie Du said in an interview with the Vestnik Kavkaza correspondent.
"Everything is very well organized, there were no problems at all," the gymnastics noted.
They also added that they are not for the first time in Baku. “For many of us, this is the third, for some, the second tournament. We were here at the beginning of the year at the World Cup, last year we also participated at the World Cup,” the athletes said.
This week, on September 16-22, the 37th World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships is held at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku. The tournament is the qualification competition for the 32nd Olympic Games in Tokyo. More than 300 gymnasts from 61 countries are competing for nine sets of medals.
