A large-scale cleaning day has been organized in Derbent. According to the press service of the department, the event was attended by representatives of the Agency for Transport and Roads and 13 road maintenance and road transport enterprises.
The event was attended by 130 people. From 9am they were cleaning up one of the longest streets in the city – Pushkin Street. As a result, by 2pm the participants of the cleaning day had managed to clear up the construction and household garbage from the road. 10 units of equipment helped them.
"Everyone knows that soon the city of Derbent is to celebrate its 2000th anniversary. The anniversary of Derbent is a great event for the whole country, it is our common holiday. Everyone should make a contribution to the preparations for the celebration," RIA Dagestan cites the head of Dagavtodortrans, Zagid Khuchbarov, as saying.
