The Chairman of the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya), Dmitry Yardov, said that there were currently no plans to open Krasnodar Airport.
He noted that the Rosaviatsiya is discussing this issue together with the Russian Ministry of Defense, since the Kuban airports were closed after their decision.
Yardov emphasized that the Federal Air Transport Agency was in contact with the Ministry of Defense, but only the airport in Elista is open now. There is almost 100% load in this airport.
