Rosneft obtains licenses for two oil, gas sites in Chechnya

The Russian Federal Subsurface Management Agency (Rosnedra) has issued a license for geological study, exploration and mining on two hydrocarbon sites in Chechnya – the Predgornensky and Bamutsko-Datykhsky, as it follows from the company’s statement. The licenses for both sites are valid until the 30th of April, 2042, Construction.ru reports.

The Predgornensky subsoil plot is located within the territories of the Urus-Martansky, Shalinsky and Groznensky municipal districts of the Chechen Republic, the Russian North Caucasus. The Bamutsko-Datykhsky subsoil plot is situated within the Achkhoi-Martanovsky and Urus-Martanovsky municipal districts of the Chechen Republic.

The amount of the final single payments for the Bamutsko-Datykhsky and Predgornensky sites totaled 2.3 million and 6.9 million, respectively.
