Rospotrebnadzor inspections have revealed violations in 74% of Russian hotels over the last three years, the head of Rospotrebnadzor, Anna Popova, informed at the first session of the Coordination Council for the development of domestic and inbound tourism.
"Over three years, we have inspected more than 4 thousand hotels, and in more than half of them, in 74% of cases, certain violations were discovered," TASS quoted her as saying.
The situation is especially difficult with hostels, according to Popova. "In 2015, in Moscow alone, the work of 24 hostels was stopped by court decision," the head of Rospotrebnadzor specified.
