Rospotrebnadzor is ready to start checks for banned Turkish products at the border, in stores and warehouses from January 1, the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova reported today.
"Starting from January 1st, we will begin to control the inflow, or more likely, non-arrival of banned goods into the territory of the Russian Federation. There are high risks that these products will be supplied through third countries, we are already preparing for that," TASS quoted her as saying.
The work will be carried out in three areas: border checks, wholesale and distribution centers and in retail stores, Popova noted.
