Russia is ready to sell Russian Su-57 fighters to Turkey if Ankara’s participation in the F-35 aircraft production program is completed, the head of Rostec, Sergey Chemezov, said, Anadolu Agency reports.
"These Russian fighters of the fifth generation have outstanding characteristics, this opens up prospects for export," RIA Novosti quotes Chemezov as saying.
Ankara will find a replacement for the F-35 fighters if the United States refuses to deliver them, and it can also continue to purchase Russian S-400s if the American side refuses to sell its Patriot air defense system, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said earlier.
