The head of Koktebel, Rostislav Storozhik, who committed suicide, may have killed himself for personal reasons. the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation said.
"This morning the dead body of the head of the administration of Koktebel was found in his apartment with signs of suicide. One of the versions of what happened is considered to be suicide committed for personal reasons," TASS quotes the agency's message.
Now there are pre-investigation checks, during which the details of what happened will be clarified.
The Head of the Administration of Feodosia, Dmitry Schepetkov, noted that, in his opinion, Storozhik committed suicide by hanging not because of some external causes. "Maybe he did not cope with some internal pressure. This is an internal responsibility. We understand that we are not able to fail, the Crimean government trusts us, we have to be on top. Not everyone can cope with that, not all available resources correspond to the tasks which are put in front of us," he said.
