In just four months of 2024, the industrial production index of the Rostov region amounted to 115%, showing the best results in Russia, Deputy Governor Igor Sorokin said.

The region's industry has shown strong growth for 13 years in a row. The top industries are responsible for the most impressive results: furniture production showed an increase of 43.2%, rise in electrical equipment amounted to 29.5%, and finished metal products showed an increase of 8.2%.
The production of electricity, gas and steam is growing in the region (an increase of 11.4%), and the figures for manufacturing industries increased by 17.2% in general.
