Iranian President Hassan Rouhani today held a meeting with the Minister of Economy and Industry of Azerbaijan, Shahin Mustafayev, at which they discussed issues of cooperation between the two countries.
"The expansion of relations with Azerbaijan is very important for Iran, there is good potential for it. We would like to develop relationships between our two countries in the spheres of transport, energy and investments," Rouhani stated.
The head of the Azerbaijani delegation in turn stressed that "the signing of the agreement on the Iranian nuclear program will help the development of peace, security and cooperation, both at regional and international levels," Trend reports.
