Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, speaking at a meeting with representatives of the business circles of Iran, spoke about the tasks facing Iranian industry within the framework of the 6th Five-Year Plan, the implementation of which will begin on March 21st.
Speaking about the lifting of sanctions against Tehran, he compared the current state of the Iranian economy to "a man released from prison, freed from shackles," but "he still has weights on his feet."
He named unemployment and the declining birthrate as the main social problems in the country. Drawing attention to a certain fatigue in society from a long wait for changes for the better, he called for the consolidation of efforts of all layers of society in order to achieve economic recovery, TASS reports.
