Iranian President Hassan Rouhani urged the US to stop its hostile approach against the Islamic Republic.
"If Americans want the region to be more stable and secure, they need to stop their hostile policies against Iran," Mehr news agency cited him as saying.
Speaking at a cabinet meeting on Wednesday, President Rouhani recalled that over the past 40 years, the Iranians have been subject to sanctions, pressure and false accusations by American politicians and propaganda apparatus.
