Iran's President Hassan Rouhani, Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Larijani and Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani discussed Tehran's response to the new sanctions imposed by the US, local media reported.
"The Americans should know that they will be harmed more by such moves, as such acts will isolate them in the world," the Fars news agency cited Rouhani as saying.
Rouhani thanked the lawmakers for preparing the plan of reciprocal measures and added that the Iranian response would be further discussed in detail during the sessions of the committee on the implementation of the nuclear deal.
