Rouhani opposes discrimination against Iranian women in sports

Iranian women should not suffer from discrimination in sports. This statement was made by President of Iran Hassan Rouhani, speaking in front of the country's leading athletes.

He noted that Iranian women should be involved in a variety of sports and take part in competitions.

"We should build special sports facilities both for women and men,'' IRNA cites Rouhani as saying, Trend reports.
