Iran's relations with Germany will bring countries in the Middle East and Europe closer, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said during a meeting with German Energy Minister Sigmar Gabriel in Tehran.
"We hope that the German delegation will play its positive role in the expansion of Iran’s ties with Europe as it did so during negotiations [between Iran and the P5+1 group]," the Iranian channel Press TV cited him as saying.
Rouhani also believes that the enhancing of the economic and trade ties between Iran and the international negotiators would ensure the implementation of the nuclear deal, RIA Novosti reports.
