Today Turkey was visited by a delegation of the State Oil Company Azerbaijan (SOCAR) headed by the company's president, Rovnag Abdullayev.
During the visit, the head of SOCAR attended a board meeting of the Trans-Anatolian pipeline (TANAP) consortium, which summed up the results of work in the past year and plans for 2016.
"The meeting discussed the results of work carried out on the project in 2015 and the tasks for this year. In addition, information about current status of the project and progress was heard, it was noted that the construction of the pipeline is successfully continuing according to plan, and the work of SOCAR as the operator of the project was highly appreciated," Trend cites the report of SOCAR.
