Ruling bloc MP takes over as Armenia's trade representative in China

MP from Armenia's ruling My Step bloc Varazdat Karapetyan said today he was resigning as parliament member.

"Today I wrote a statement on resigning as a parliament member. On  December 4, I will take over as Armenia's trade representative in China. Now more than ever, Armenia needs new connections, markets, opportunities and investments," Karapetyan wrote on his Facebook page.

An extraordinary meeting of the Council of the National Assembly decided today that Karapetyan will be replaced by Alexei Sadykov in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
