The Georgian authorities consider the decision of the United States to postpone joint military exercises indefinitely to be inexplicable. The Executive Secretary of the ruling party of the republic announced this on July 8.

"Someone will say that this is an attempt by the United States to interfere in the elections in Georgia. We don't say this, but when someone says it, you (journalists - the editor's note) will come and ask "Do you agree or not?". Such a suspicion may be legitimate, but we don't look at the issue that way and don’t go deeper into the topic",

Mamuka Mdinaradze said.

The Georgian Dream representative complained that the United States had decided to postpone the exercises despite the fact that the republic was among the leading countries in terms of the quality of democracy.

Let us remind you that the United States announced its decision to postpone joint exercises with Georgia last week. The reason for it is a revision of relations with the republic.
