The Russian Defense Ministry achieved progress in the coordination of an agreement with the Pentagon on ensuring the flight safety of military aviation during strikes in Syria, the official representative of the Ministry of Defense Major-General Igor Konashenkov reported today.
According to him, a second video conference took place of the experts of defense departments of the two countries on security issues during the operation in Syria.
Konashenkov noted that the sides discussed proposals put forward by each other during the first working contact. He also informed that the discussion was professional and constructive.
