The Russian national team is facing the task of entering the top three of the national squads in the overall medals standings at the 2020 Summer Olympic Games in Japan’s Tokyo, Russian Sports Minister Pavel Kolobkov said on Tuesday, TASS reports.
"The national team is preparing for the 2020 Olympics in line with the schedule," Kolobkov told journalists. "We have no doubts whatsoever that they will be well prepared, will accomplish the set tasks and will finish in the top three."
"We see the potential, which is necessary to accomplish this task," the Russian sports minister added.
