Russia's Federal Customs Service plans to speed up the movement of goods with Azerbaijan, acting director of Russia's Federal Customs Service Ruslan Davydov said.

According to him, it is necessary to activate projects to speed up the movement of goods within the framework of international agreements with friendly countries and promising trade partners. Among the most promising are the pilot projects "Simplified Customs Corridor" with Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Syria, China, and Türkiye.

"Projects on mutual recognition of customs control results are already being implemented in Azerbaijan, China, and Mongolia. It is important to seek to increase their practical impact, transparency, and security of supply chains of goods, as well as to expand the range of participants and increase the volume of trade turnover," Ruslan Davydov said.
