Russia and Azerbaijan are seeking to revive their cultural ties, Special Representative of the Russian President Mikhail Shvydkoi said.
Cultural cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan will be restored in the near future, aligning with the interests and will of both parties. Mikhail Shvydkoi expressed confidence that the centuries-old bonds of friendship between the two countries provide a solid foundation for returning to a full-fledged partnership in this area.
"There are no profound reasons for us not to return to full-scale cultural cooperation," Mikhail Shvydkoi said.
He emphasized that Russia and Azerbaijan are united by common spiritual values. The countries are inextricably linked by a shared history, which Shvydkoi identified as the key guarantee for rebuilding cultural ties in the arts.
