The Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia, Mikhail Bogdanov, and the Director for Political and Security Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France, Nicolas de Rivera, held a meeting today, at which the parties discussed the fight against international terrorism and the establishment of a political settlement in Syria.
The two sides exchanged views on the situation in the Middle East in the context of consolidating the efforts of the international community to combat international terrorism, including issues of Russian-French cooperation in the suppression of Daesh, gazeta.ru reports.
