Russia and Germany discuss crisis in Syria and Minsk agreements

Today Moscow hosted a meeting of the First Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia, Vladimir Titov, and the State Secretary of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Markus Ederer, at which the parties discussed the settlement of the crisis in Syria and the implementation of the Minsk agreements.

As the Russian Foreign Ministry reported, during the conversation the sides discussed current issues on the Russian-German agenda. "In this context, the intensification of inter-parliamentary, inter-departmental, inter-regional, humanitarian and cultural contacts was noted," the Foreign Ministry added.

It is noted that the results of the 14th session of the Russian-German public forum 'Petersburg Dialogue' in Potsdam received a positive assessment, gazeta.ru reports.
