On Friday, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov and his Iranian counterpart Ali Bagheri Kani discussed the progress of the JCPOA negotiation process.
According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, a thorough exchange of views took place on various aspects of the negotiation process aimed at restoring the full implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action for a Settlement around the Iranian Nuclear Program (JCPOA), “including taking into account the results of indirect contacts recently held in Doha between representatives of Washington and Tehran through the European External Action Service”.
Sergei Ryabkov and Ali Bagheri Kani agreed to continue contacts and further close coordination on this topic.
