Russia's Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu and Kazakhstan’s Defense Minister Imangali Tasmagambetov discussed relevant issues of military and military-technical cooperation.
"During the meeting with Kazakhstan’s Defense Minister Imangali Tasmagambetov, Sergey Shoigu will discuss relevant issues of military and military-technical cooperation in the framework of strategic partnership between the two countries," TASS cited the Kazakh Defense Ministry as saying.
The ministry reminded that Kazakhstan received five S-300 air defense systems from Russia and 170 missiles for these systems will be also delivered.
Earlier the Russian Defense Ministry said that Shoigu has arrived in Kazakhstan for a short working visit.
