Russian President Vladimir Putin sent congratulations to Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
"Russian-Kyrgyzstani ties have reached the level of strategic partnership and allied relations over the past decades. A substantive political dialogue and fruitful cooperation in various areas are progressing successfully. Moscow and Bishkek are effectively interacting within the EAEU, CSTO, CIS, SCO and other multilateral structures", the telegram published on Sunday on the Kremlin's website says.
The Russian leader expressed hope for the further development of bilateral relations for the benefit of the Russian and Kyrgyzstani peoples in the interests of strengthening regional stability and security.
Putin wished Zhaparov good health and success. The president also wished the citizens of Kyrgyzstan peace and prosperity.
