Russia urges the sides of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict to show restraint and start an immediate abandonment of violence, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Maria Zakharova, stated.
According to her, Russia started consultations with its partners, the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group. Zakharova also stressed that the Russian Foreign Ministry is monitoring the situation.
In addition, today a source in the OSCE informed that next week the OSCE Minsk Group on Nagorno-Karabakh will hold another meeting in Vienna to discuss the escalation of the situation in the conflict zone, RIA Novosti reported.
