Within 10 days Russia and Turkey are to discuss the import ban on a number of Turkish fruit and vegetables in connection with the identification of a large number of phytosanitary products, the head of Rosselkhoznadzor Sergey Dankvert said today.
"We are to hold talks with the Turkish service within 10 days and then we'll make a decision," Dankvert said, noting that it is getting warmer in the country and therefore it is more difficult to ensure the quarantine state of certain fruits and vegetables on the Russian market, Tass reports.
