Contacts between Russia and the United States are ongoing, including the issue of Iran, Russian Presidential Aide Yury Ushakov said.
"Contacts with the Americans are underway, including on Iran," Yury Ushakov said.
Yesterday, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that a conversation between Russian and U.S. presidents, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, following the U.S. attacks on Iran is not planned so far, though it may be swiftly organized if necessary.
The Russian foreign ministry strongly condemned the strikes launched by the United States against a number of nuclear facilities in Iran. The ministry called for an end to aggression and urge efforts that will create conditions for a return to a political and diplomatic path.
