Moscow and Washington are discussing a possible meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, a diplomatic source said.
"We are thinking about the presidential summit, and in conversations with American partners this question emerges. But there are no agreements yet," RIA news agency cited a source as saying.
Earlier, the Wall Street Journal reported citing an unnamed European official, that Putin raised the possibility of holding such a meeting in Vienna this summer during his visit to Austria earlier this month. According to the paper, Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz told the Russian leader he would forward the initiative to Trump.
