The tourist flow between Russia and Uzbekistan will increase by 40% by 2027. This information was published by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation following the signing of a road map between the countries during the visit of Russian leader Vladimir Putin to Uzbekistan.

It is reported that it is planned to expand cooperation in 12 areas, which are indicated in the road map. In particular, there will be a regular exchange of experience between the tourism organizations of the countries.

There are plans to hold a forum with the participation of the tourism industry's representatives.

According to the authorities, these measures helped increase the number of mutual tourist trips to 2 million per year.

In addition to this, thanks to the road map, it will be possible to attract investment in the development of the sector.

It is specified that in June the authorities will prepare the practical part of the plan as part of the "Travel!" forum, which will be held in the capital of the Russian Federation.
