Russia has banned the import of any dairy products from Kyrgyzstan. The ban has been introduced by Rosselkhoznadzor from today.
An inspection conducted by Rosselkhoznadzor in Kyrgyzstan from April 10 to April 16 showed that proper state monitoring was not carried out in the republic, there was no necessary control over the quality and safety of livestock products.
"It has been established that the laboratory research plan does not include most of the indicators provided for by the legislation of Russia and the EAEU",
Rosselkhoznadzor reports.
In addition to this, manufacturers take milk from suppliers without documents, which makes it impossible to establish the origin of raw materials, and products are also stored without labeling.
"The issue of resuming the dairy products supply to Russia will be considered after the Veterinary Service of Kyrgyzstan re-checks all milk processing enterprises for their compliance with the requirements and norms of Russia and the EAEU and provides appropriate guarantees to the Rosselkhoznadzor, and their subsequent inspection by representatives of the Russian department",
Rosselkhoznadzor stated in the message on the official website.
