Today the EMERCOM in North Ossetia informed about the closure of the Russian section of the Georgian Military Road from Vladikavkaz to Upper Lars because of extreme weather conditions.
According to the site of the service, the road connection with Georgia was closed "until further notice."
Earlier, Georgia informed about the closure of the 16-kilometer section of the Georgian Military Road from its border in connection with a strong snowstorm.
